A creature with a hundred heads, known as a dragon, acted as the guardian of the precious golden lemons in the care of the Hesperides. This formidable creature was eventually defeated by the hero Heracles.
This piece is completely handmade with lost wax casting method. It’s the process where Hespérides take a hand-carved wax model and turn it into a finished piece in precious metal.
